SunnyPilot Users mass ban, here’s what you need to do

UPDATE: You no longer have to do anything, comma is auto unbanning all devices since this affects so many people

Here’s the message from the SunnyPilot Dev and what you need to do:

Hey @everyone,

It has come to our attention that some sunnypilot users may have been unintentionally banned by comma due to a recent server-side change on the comma server. If you were affected by this issue, don’t worry! We’ve been in touch with the comma team, and they’ve confirmed that these bans were triggered by mistake.

Important clarification:

No additional users will be banned by this issue going forward. Whoever is currently banned has already been affected, and no new bans will occur due to this server-side change.

How to verify if you’re banned:

Check your dongle’s status at https://useradmin.comma.ai. If you see “uploads ignored,” this indicates that your dongle has been banned.

What you need to do:

To resolve the issue, simply reach out to comma support and mention the incident. They’ll help get your dongle unbanned. Please use the link below and follow the instructions carefully.

  1. Please choose your issue below: Select “other”
  2. Your email address: Use your email (preferably the one you used to purchase your C3/3X)
  3. Subject: Request to Unban due to unintentional ban using sunnypilot
  4. Order ID: Leave this blank
  5. Car Make, Model, and Year: Leave this blank
  6. Description: Please copy and paste the following description into the form:

Hello comma support,

I believe my dongle was unintentionally banned due to a recent server-side change on the comma server while using sunnypilot. I kindly request to be unbanned. sunnypilot received confirmation from the comma team that this ban was issued by mistake.

I have checked https://useradmin.comma.ai and noticed that it shows “uploads ignored,” which indicates the dongle is banned.

If you’re affected, please reach out to support as soon as possible to get the situation resolved. The engineering team at comma has made comma support aware of the issue and the requests to unban due to the unintentional ban.

I looked to see if my Comma was banned (I use SunnyPilot) and they were banend, so I had to reach out to Comma and get it unbanned. Here’s what it looks like when you follow the directions to see if it’s banned:
